Welcome to our website! Cancun, Mexico is a very popular resort town on the Caribbean. It is located on the Yucatan peninsula (North 21o 02’ and West 86o 53.21’). Cancun is 1446 miles north of the equator. Ironically, Cancun is closer to the southern tip of Florida (just over 500 miles) than it is to Mexico City which is just over 800 miles from Cancun. Not surprisingly, Cancun, Mexico is a very popular vacation spot among US citizens. Our goal is to serve as a one stop shop for resources about Cancun. There is a ton of information and other websites on the internet. We are going to serve as a directory of information. www.UCancun.com We have located one such website about Cancun. It’s a little short on pictures but it’s a great informational resource. The website covers an extensive list of topics including restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, getting to Cancun, safety in Cancun, shopping, currency, communication and day trips from Cancun. There is a ton of information. Furthermore, the website owners assure us that the pictures are on the way; they just don’t want to use the stock photos that are used by every other website. They said that they’re going to go through and take pictures of each location, restaurant, hotel, and beach to make their picture inventory as comprehensive as their information resources.
